An old family recipe of Persian spices are delicately combined with peaches, saffron rice, and diced chicken breast for a wonderfully savory, lightly sweet meal. Makes two 10 oz. servings. Gluten free.

Ingredients: PRECOOKED LONG GRAIN WHITE RICE, CHICKEN BREAST (COOKED DICED AND FREEZE-DRIED), FREEZE-DRIED PEACHES (PEACHES, SUGAR, ASCORBIC ACID, CITRIC ACID, SAUCE (ORGANIC EVAPORATED CANE JUICE, ONION, SALT, LIME JUICE POWDER), LIME PEEL, BLACK PEPPER, CINNAMON, CUMIN SEED, ALLSPICE, SAFFRON, ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

 

Directions: Remove and discard oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. Remove olive oil packet and add oil to other ingredients. Add 2 cups (480 mL) of boiling water. Stir well. Seal and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Stir and serve. Rehydration time doubles every 5,000 feet of elevation gain. Our directions are set for 5,000 feet.
